Context

Tender offers let employees and often early investors sell a portion of their shares at a set price to an approved investor. With startups staying private longer, employees holding illiquid stock have limited options for early liquidity.

NewView and Carta say their partnership is meant to make it easier for companies to launch and manage such programs. Viswanathan said tenders are no longer limited to the most valuable private companies such as OpenAI, Databricks or Anduril.
